Five Leadership Excellence Award winners were recognized at the Diversity Symposium Reception on Thursday, September 15.

In collaboration with Georgia Tech’s ADVANCE Program, Institute Diversity has been offering 90-minute workshops to address the concepts of implicit bias and perceptions of competence.

Following the Office of the President’s listening sessions on gender equity last fall, Georgia Tech identified 11 initiatives that will be implemented over the next two years.

Institute Diversity will manage the implementation of a set of recommendations that came from recent conversations with women on campus. A working group will review progress quarterly.
